Stephanie produces and co-hosts Hella Pinay Radyo, a monthly listener-participation podcast on lowergrandradio.com. Featuring an advice hotline, raw conversations dissecting Filipino/Fil-Am culture, and the best in underground DJs from the Philippines and diaspora, the show has peaked at 6th on Mixcloud’s global Talk Charts and been featured in their newsletter and social media, reaching a worldwide audience of over 20M. Her co-host, Guerrilla Pump, is an award-winning community-based artist-organizer rooted in the East Bay’s underground creative scene; the Bay Area Father of the first Trans-led international music label New World Dysorder, he is also the cofounder of Ballroom entertainment company Oakland To All and a founding member of We Are The Ones (We’ve Been Waiting For), a DJ collective building people power with community targeted by state-sanctioned violence and socio-cultural marginalization.
In 2023, Hella Pinay Radyo was awarded a grant from the Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center to produce a livestream event for their 26th annual United States of Asian America Festival, REIMAGINING HORIZONS, which presented over twenty different programs reflecting the artistic accomplishments and cultural diversity of San Francisco’s Pacific Islander and Asian American communities.
