Hella Pinay Digital

Frustrated by the lack of representation in mainstream and traditional Filipino media, I created Hella Pinay in 2016 as a digital platform for us to tell our own diverse, complex stories; a space to cover emerging creative culture and explore the many intersections of diasporic identity. I aspire to cultivate healing spaces of joy, self-expression and consent that center women, queer, trans, and gender nonconforming folks and that allow us to shine unapologetically.

Hella Pinay’s digital magazine covers culture, music, fashion, wellness and Filipina/o/x identity, with a global team of contributors from LA to Manila to Toronto.
